It's the Purly hat! The instructions were easy to follow, and the decreases looked great! And yay to no seaming on hats! It's made with one ball of Online Kaschmerino, which is very similar to Debbie Bliss' Baby Cashmerino in fiber content but slightly thinner so there're more yards per 50g ball. Where DB's plies unwind a bit, this yarn holds very well. Unfortunately, I think it's discontinued and I regret not getting more from the Mongkok yarn shop before it closed. I gave this hat to my colleague's baby N. Baby N is just two months old and her head is not yet big enough for the hat but I got someone else to model it beforehand. Perfect fit! :-) Thanks for the pattern, Purly!
And a little blanket square for Kimberli , who stopped by in HK, to take home.
It's partly selfish knitting as I've always wanted to knit this cover sweater but just no one to knit it for. This square is done using about 2/3 skein of Lamb's Pride Worsted for a 12" square. I hope it will be useful. :-)
What a cute little hat!

Love the seed stitch on the hat. That's such a neat square, your knitting is always impeccable!

I love the Kaschmerino too and it's a perfect yarn for the hat. I remember it being washable. BTW, your square is very useful. It's so nicely blocked that we used it as a measuring device on Saturday when we knitted our squares.

Nice hat ! It is bad news for us that the Mongkok yarn shop won't open this year. I guess it is because the rental fee has increase too much this year. I do miss their very good price yarn ><
