That's Yo! Happy November Monday! No, I've not signed up for NaBloPoMo (a post every day for this month? hahaha it's already the 3rd, yeesh!), but I would like to try and post every week day. That way, we could catch up on all the wips and fos that have been sitting around here, and help me face the ufos, to either finish or frog them. Kind of spring cleaning in November. Considering I've only been posting once a month (or less) for such a long time, my hands are getting clammy just thinking about all that posting. ;)
Let's get started! This past Saturday, I cast on for some new socks.
Quick socks for a nine year old (even so, they're 8.5 inches long). I like not having to count rows when knitting with self striping yarn, and just let the stripes dictate how long to make the cuff, or when to start the ankle flap. The needles are Knitpicks Harmony needles, my favorite sock needles by far. They're smooth, pretty, with the right pointiness, and there're six of them, in case you want to save the grafting for both socks at the end. I've used the same set for the last dozen pairs of socks or so and they're still not bendy, which is very impressive compared to the bamboo needles I'd used.
And when I work on these tonight, I'll be thinking of what to post tomorrow!

theses socks are very beautifull :)
