me: (walking through doorway carrying a big Toys R Us bag)
Y (he's 7): Oooooo, new toys!!!!!
me (joking): Yes, but it's for me.
Y: There's yarn at Toys R Us? (walks away)
I don't know where he got that idea. ;-)
Lorna's Laces in Natural (maybe for dyeing fun later), Carrot, and Red Rover.
Fleece Artist merino sock yarn in Burgundy and Green Onion. I just had to get some after seeing Terhi's socks.
Rio de la Plata sock yarn in French Blue and Coral Rose. This yarn feels a lot like LL (very thin with a nice twist, and has about the same yardage) but it's 100% superwash wool.
Cashmere blend sock yarn from The Knittery, in Moonlight and Passionfruit. Fyberspates sock yarn in reds/purples.
Trekking, a generous gift from Siow Chin. And last but not least:
A thoughtfully packaged prize, from Jeanne's blogiversary contest. Thank you Jeanne! I've got plans for the Lakeview LL already! :-)
I don't remember the last time I had a yarn post, and I was actually quite excited to have these pretty new yarns all at once for taking pictures.
